Furnas/ GOSPER County Museum

The Furnas/Gosper County Museum is a FREE museum (although donations are greatly appreciated) that features history of the Southwestern Nebraska Plains. The Furnas/Gosper County Museum was established in 1968. The Furnas/Gosper County Historical Society took control of the museum in 1998. Come see exhibits related to pioneering, our unique connection to the P.O.W. camp from Atlanta, community history, and more. Who knew Arapahoe once featured an opera house?! Come here to connect back in with the history of your community.
